Now that Bella is in first grade, the homework has begun. The first week required her to read twenty minutes a night and record the book title on her daily log that travels to and from school. Beginning the second week, she will receive a Language Arts homework packet on Monday, to be turned in on Friday. LOVE that since we have dance Tuesdays and Wednesdays so homework may be tricky these evenings. She'll also get Math homework on Wednesdays, to be turned in Fridays. To help with her homework completion, I moved her art desk up to the kitchen so she has a place all her own free of food and puddles (aka the countertop). I'm hoping her excitement about homework continues and it isn't just because the words this week were so easy (seriously...is the spelling word "a" really necessary???)
