The Annual Santa Train ride was the weekend of December 6. After a LONG ride to Dillwyn behind the slowest drivers in history, we arrived right at boarding time to meet the Garrett's for our Santa encounter. Santa went solo this year; no Mrs. Claus, but plenty of helper elves. The kids received stickers, candy canes, and coloring pages for their effort in keeping it together to talk to the big guy. Bella shared that she hoped for a Fur Real Puppy (check) and her brother wanted a red airplane (uh oh, I thought my shopping was done.). Ben wasn't getting anywhere near the stranger in a white beard and red suit. Rylan couldn't get to him fast enough! Hope he gets that Blue Angel~
