Never a dull moment

So tonight we were all sitting around the outside table having dinner and hearing about Bella's first day of Kindergarten when Lucy lets out a piercing yelp that startles us all. We check her all over to find that she is bleeding from the mouth and has a tooth sticking out sideways. Fearing that she broke a tooth chewing on the metal umbrella stand, we take her to the emergency vet. After two hours we find that she has fractured her jaw. Now we're back to our regular vet tomorrow to figure out what to do next. SERIOUSLY, we just can't get a break (no pun intended Lucy)! There's never a dull moment in the Hersman home! (Just before dinner, Ben was stung by a bee too. He said, "A buggie bit me Mommy. Ouchy!)
