This year Ben decided he wanted a Hot Wheels birthday party. We planned a bunch of car-themed craft activities and a wheely-good lunch for our guests! We had wagon-wheel mac and cheese, cut little hot dogs into wheel shapes, and ate wheel-shaped pretzels. I guess it was a good thing to feed the kids and cut the cake first because they were uncharacteristically calm the rest of the party. We colored vehicle Shrinky Dinks, decorated cars with feathers, sequins, and pom poms, & played cars on Ben's new road rug and race tracks. He had a really good time with his friends!
